Skill and Fitness Based Competence

Achieve and maintain a health-enhancing level of fitness throughout the program.

For the past seven years I have been a member of a track and field team from the modified level to the collegiate level now. I have run many races and have done various events that have been documented from official meets. As a member of the team on SUNY Cortland I have to record my weight lifting from each session so we can check improvement and enhancement. Staying physically fit and being able to stay competitive is extremely important in my life. Being a member of a collegiate team requires a high level of fitness and failure to stay fit can result in being cut from the team.
